How to Setup XIM with MAKCU for Controller

Important: This guide is only for using controller with MAKCU.

Prerequisites

Baud Rate Configuration

MAKCU's baud rate must match your software's expected speed. Ensure the baud rate is correctly configured before proceeding.

Mouse Functionality

When using XIM with controller, the mouse attached to USB 3 will no longer function as a mouse due to XIM converting MAKCU's mouse inputs to controller inputs. If you need a mouse to navigate your gaming PC while XIM + MAKCU is connected, connect another mouse directly to your PC (this means you need 2 mice: one for MAKCU, one for your PC).

Critical Warning

The mouse must remain connected to USB 3 at all times. If you remove the mouse from USB 3, MAKCU will shut down and the software will stop!

Step 1: Prepare XIM

Before connecting MAKCU, your XIM must be fully functional with your game.

XIM Must Work First

The XIM should be fully functional with the game of your choice. Refer to XIM setup guides for configuring XIM with a mouse and controller, ensuring buttons and sticks are mapped to the mouse.

Test XIM Setup

Test that the mouse can move the right thumb stick in your game and that mouse buttons function as controller buttons. Only proceed once XIM is working correctly.

Step 2: Prepare MAKCU

Ensure MAKCU is fully functional before connecting to XIM.

MAKCU Must Be Fully Functional

MAKCU should be fully functional and working in normal mouse mode. Ensure MAKCU works correctly with a working mouse connected to USB 3.

Working Mouse Required

A working mouse must be connected to USB 3. This mouse will remain connected at all times for MAKCU to function with the aimbot.

Step 3: Connect XIM and MAKCU

Once both XIM and MAKCU are fully prepared, connect them together.

Connection Steps

Connect XIM and MAKCU as shown in the video below. Ensure both devices are fully functional before connecting.
